A memorandum of understanding was on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 signed by the Lagos State Government led by Sanwo Olu, with Del-York Group and Storyland Studios, to build the first ever African Film and Media City in Epe, Lagos.

The MOU was officiated on the occasion of the 9th Ehingbeti Lagos Economic Summit, with the theme: “Charting the Paths To Sustainable Socio-Economic Growth”, where both public and private sector stakeholders discussed Lagos State’s economic progression across all sectors.

Africa Film and Media City, when realized, will provide filmmakers of Africa extraction the wherewithal for high quality film making and possible collaborations with their counterparts across the globe.
